Description
The 13th Century Ormanni estate is located in the heart of Chianti, between the towns of Poggibonsi and Castellinai.  For the last 200 years, the estate has been owned by the Brini Batacchi family who have been producing true expressions of what the region has to offer.

This organic wine is produced with Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malvasia Nera grapes hand picked from vineyards of sand and limestone soil compacted with abundant seashell fossils that enrich the wine with minerality. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and cement tanks and also aged in stainless steel and cement tanks for 16 months.
